Today I’m sharing a really EASY recipe for Loaded Nacho Bites but more importantly I’m working to spread the word about the Spot the Seal initiative to help the recent hurricane victims. I am just heart broken watching the news lately and wondering how I can help those affected by the hurricanes in Florida & Texas. I was so excited to find a really simple way to make a difference and wanted to share that with all of you!
The finishing touch to these Loaded Nacho Bites is Mexican Crema made with Real California Milk. See that Real California Milk seal? You can help those affected by the hurricanes by simply finding that seal on your favorite dairy products and share them on social media with #SealForGood! Real California Milk will donate $5 to the Great American Milk Drive (up to $20,000) to help families affected by hurricane Harvey and Irma in Texas and Florida & no purchase is necessary.
Real California Milk is all about providing wholesome dairy- nothing overly processed or complicated. You can find this seal on your favorite butters, milks, yogurts, cheeses, ice creams and more. For many children and families who face hunger, even basic staples like milk may be missing. The Great American Milk Drive, in partnership with Feeding America, has delivered more than 1 million gallons of milk to food banks across the country since 2014 to help families get the nutrients they need. HELP NOW!
So while you’re out snapping pictures to help those affected by the recent hurricanes, go ahead and grab some Mexican Crema and make these! When I brought the dish out to mat kids they asked what they were and I told them… my 8 year old responded with “oh cool so everything is on one chip and you don’t have to dig for beans or guac?”. Exactly kiddo! No bare chips, no fighting over the chips with the most of your favorite topping… these Loaded Nacho Bites have everything right there!
- tortilla scoop chips
- canned pinto or black beans, rinsed and drained
- Mexican shredded cheese
- guacamole {homemade or store bought}
- salsa
- Mexican Crema
- sliced black olives
- limes & cilantro for garnish
- Preheat your oven to 385 degrees.
- Place the chips on a lined baking sheet. Fill the chips with a bit of beans and cheese. Bake for 5-7 minutes.
- Top each nacho bite with the remaining toppings.
