Can I tell you, these Game Day Sloppy Joe Sliders were a massively huge hit with my family last night! Like HUGE! Seeing as they passed the taste test, I    will absolutely be adding these to my at home tailgating menu for the big game!! The flavors are so simple but so perfect. Ground beef tossed in a fantastic ketchup and mustard based sauce, piled on a slider bun with American cheese and a big burger pickle slice. I  brushed the buns with melted butter and a sprinkle of garlic powder to add just one more fantastic layer of flavor.

Sloppy Joes sliders make for great party eats! I  think one big key to a good Sloppy Joe is not to have it overly greasy or saucy. It all just turns the bun to mush and thats no fun! These really came out perfect. I was given the opportunity to try out this product called Easy Greasy so I thought this was a GREAT recipe to try it out. It makes getting rid of excess grease super easy! I  love that this product was created by a fellow momma, Michelle that solves a problem in the kitchen. You don’t have to balance a strainer and a bowl, you’re not pouring oil into your pipes, super easy to use and you get all that excess grease out of your food!

So whether you are making this for family dinner or to serve friends and family at the big game… these Game Day Sloppy Joe Sliders are going to totally score you extra points! This recipe can easily be double or tripled to serve more… this recipe makes enough for 8 sliders.

  6. Add the slider bun bottoms to a baking dish. Top each with a scoop of meat, American cheese and a pickle slice. Add the bun top on. Brush with the melted butter and sprinkle with a little garlic powder.

I used to eat sloppy joes all the time as a kid. Can you believe I made this dish for my family? They’ll love these sliders! Love the cheese and pickle slices you added.

I love sliders because There is so much less bread so I can eat two! This one sounds super yummy. I’m definitely a sloppy joe girl and they’re perfect for tailgating or entertaining!
