And the results are in for our 1st Annual LeMoine Family Kitchen Cookoff!!! Check out the video to see who the big winner was! 

Our 1st Annual LeMoine Family Kitchen Cookoff was Sunday and let me tell ya, we had a great time!!! There were tons of laughs, great food and a hint of good ol’ fashioned trash talking! The competitors: myself and my youngest brother Mike. Just like me, he is a lover of all things food and we have spent tons of time in the kitchen together. He has been my “sous chef” on many occasions! We are absolutely a competitive family so what better way to have some fun then do our own version of “Chopped” at home!

Thanks to all of my wonderful readers we ended up with a fantastic mystery basket of Kidney Beans, Rice Krispies, Chorizo and Gnocchi!!! We each had 30 minutes in the grocery store and 35 minutes to cook. And wow did the 35 minutes fly by!

My brother put up a simple, delicious and creative meal!!! Me, I went a little riskier and attempted several different elements… In the end we both had great flavors but there has to be a winner right?!
