Peanut Butter, Banana & Chia Smoothie

March 8, 2014 by Angela LeMoine 2 Comments

peanut butter banana chia smoothie Hooray the weekend is here!!! This week has been absolutely crazy! Let me fill ya in on whats going on around here. We are in the process of selling our house. Last Wednesday someone came for a showing, the following day there was an offer, a day or two later we accepted the offer, already through attorney review and house inspection is tomorrow so I have been spending most of my time packing, hence the lack of new recipes this week.

My birthday was last month and because my hubby knows the way to my heart I got a Magic Bullet!! My blender wasn’t cutting it for my a.m shakes and honestly this thing is awesome and fast! So, this morning I have a really delicious smoothie recipe for you; Peanut Butter, Banana & Chia!! This is so great especially on the days you are running around don’t have much time and really, don’t skip your meals, it just ends up slowing your metabolism. I love love love anything with peanut butter and banana and this smoothie hits the spot, keeps me full and thanks to the chia seeds, adds tons of nutrition! Starting your day off on the right foot just seems to make the rest of the day go well so take the time to fill yourself with good things!

Peanut Butter, Banana & Chia Smoothie
Ingredients
  • 1 banana
  • 1 heaping Tbsp natural peanut butter
  • 3 Tbsp organic vanilla yogurt {i love Stonyfield}
  • 1 scoop chia seeds {about a Tbsp}
  • 3/4 cup water of fat free milk
Instructions
  1. Pop everything into your blend and let it go until nice and smooth.
