Smart Flour Foods Gluten Free Pizza

Over the last few years I’ve had more and more friends go gluten free, whether for dietary or medical reasons. One of the biggest complaints is that so many of the gluten free products out there are full of artificial flavors, preservatives and just flat out bland. While I don’t have an intolerance to gluten I have been working on reducing my gluten intake here and there and this Gluten Free Pizza from Smart Flour Foods is a fantastic option!

Since homemade pizza isn’t always an option I love having a prepackaged go to that I can feel good about for my family. While checking out a local gourmet market I came across the Smart Flour Foods Margherita Pizza in the freezer aisle and decided to pick up a couple boxes!

I love that the crust is made with super healthy ancient grains, free of gluten/wheat, egg, soy, rice and the cheese is made from milk not treated with rBGH making it a-ok for people with allergies to those foods too! The Margherita was delicious! The crust was nice and crisp, I enjoyed the sauce, the fresh tomato and basil {yes, I did add some extra basil because I can’t get enough}. Having these on hand definitely came in very handy this weekend when we go home late from a family outing and the kids were starving!

I can’t wait to pick up some of the crusts and have a fun pizza making party with the kids! They love, as they call it, decorating their own pizzas!
