Cooking Competition *Brother vs. Sister*

February 15, 2016 by Angela LeMoine 9 Comments

{A quick note: while there are brand name products shown in this video, it is not in any way sponsored. These are simply the items my sister in law, myself and my brother purchased to use}

Happy dancing over here friends!! After a lot of hard work prepping, filming and editing the video, I finally get to share with you our Cooking Competition *Brother vs. Sister*!!! A two part competition between myself and my brother Michael preparing an appetizer and dessert each. Just as in a popular show on t.v we had a mystery basket for each round. Lets just say that between me and my brothers we are a competitive group so this battle was close and fierce!! My goal was to get redemption from my loss about 3 years ago to him but you’ll have to watch the video to see how it all turned out!

I do want to take a minute to thank a bunch of people that helped tremendously in one way or another to make this competition possible! My brother Mike who is always so fun to cook along with. My hubby Steve for helping video the competition and doing ALL the editing {and lets just say there were A LOT of hours to get to the final product}. Our friend Mike who spent hours videoing us with not a single complaint {hey, we eventually let him eat too}. Last but not least, the judges… our friends Natalie, Matt and brother Dominick.

I hope you all enjoy the video as much as we enjoyed making it happen! Oh and A BIG thank you to everyone that helped on on the LFK Facebook page to give the secret ingredients options. Everything was put into a hat and 3 ingredients for each round were chosen. My sister in law went ahead and picked up the ingredients so that they could be reveled just before the competition to myself and Michael. We each took about 20 minutes in the store to gather whatever we needed before heading back to the house to get cooking. Each round we were given 30 minutes to prepare our dishes.

I’d love to hear your thoughts! Would you like to see more videos like this or with full recipes and instruction?
