Coffee Cheesecake Danish

September 20, 2016 by Angela LeMoine 40 Comments

Coffee Cheesecake Danish is a simple and delicious breakfast treat or afternoon snack to enjoy with a cup of coffee. #ad

What a great treat this Coffee Cheesecake Danish is. Whether you’re enjoying it for breakfast, an afternoon treat or dessert it is sure to please. This girl right here is a lover of coffee! Naturally when I was asked to participate in the NESCAFÉ® Taster’s Choice® Coffee Challenge I jumped at the opportunity. I changed up my morning coffee routine {aka spending too much money at the fancy coffee shoppes} and switched to NESCAFÉ® Taster’s Choice® instant coffee.

Let me tell ya, I am NOT yet adjusted to the school routine and mornings are crazy now with both boys in full day school. Is it just me? Between making breakfast, packing lunch boxes and making sure everyone is dressed and ready to get out the door in time to catch the bus I need a quick boost from a smooth cup of coffee! Oh and don’t even get me started on getting out of the house by 6:45 am on Saturday mornings for hockey practice!

I have no idea why I haven’t tried NESCAFÉ® Taster’s Choice® instant coffee because it is seriously making life easy! Theres no coffee pot or machine needed… just hot water and the instant coffee granules! The NESCAFÉ® Taster’s Choice® instant coffee uses responsibly sourced beans and flash freeze the coffee to ensure the ultimate freshness and in turn a GREAT tasting cup of coffee! Another FABULOUS thing… that 7 oz House Blend is now in a glass jar rather then plastic which absolutely helps keep things fresh. Also, you can get up to 105 cups off coffee from that one jar! HUGE $$$ saver right there!!!

*TAKE THE CHALLENGE*

These Coffee Cheesecake Danish are so easy to make and go perfectly with a fresh cup of coffee. The filling is simply a mixture of cream cheese, brewed NESCAFÉ® Taster’s Choice® instant coffee, egg and powdered sugar. Puff pastry, who doesn’t love it am I right? It makes for the perfect base for this danish. I finished the danishes with a simple glaze and a lovely dusting of powdered sugar.

Go ahead, join me and so many others in the NESCAFÉ® Taster’s Choice® Coffee Challenge and see for yourself how easy it is to make a rich and smooth cup off coffee in minutes!  I am so glad I joined the challenge. Heck, Im actually keeping some of the single serve packets in my purse for on the go cups of coffee! I’d love to hear from YOU… whats your favorite NESCAFÉ® Taster’s Choice® flavor? I am rather partial to the French Roast!

  4. Unfold the sheets of puff pastry and cut each sheet in 6 even pieces. Place onto a lined baking sheet.
  5. Top each piece with a couple Tbsp of the filling {you may not use all of it} in the center of the piece of pastry.

I dig some puff pastry and how easy it is to use! Getting out of the house on school mornings is such a pain. I don’t know how people get up early and exercise and read before the kids get up. I love my sleep and need every extra second. No early rising for me but these pastries will make the mornings easier!
