* I received tickets to a dinner cruise with Spirit of New Jersey so that I could share my experience with all of you.  All opinions are my own. 

Incredible views, a great meal, a lovely cocktail and just a really great night with the NYC Skyline Dinner Cruise with Spirit of New Jersey. Having lived so close to NYC all my life I can easily say that this was the most amazing way to enjoy the famous skyline.

I’ve always lived close to NYC and have been there countless times whether it be to see a broadway show, a hockey game, a special dinner or just to sightsee. As we sailed on The Spirit of New Jersey, by the famous skyline I said to my husband, “it really is amazing to see it from the water… its so quite, peaceful and beautiful”.  What an incredible opportunity we had to experience the city we’ve visited so many times from a completely different perspective. 

 

We were one of the first to board the Spirit of New Jersey so I was able take a peek around the ship before we began cruising. What a beautiful ship. There were a couple of levels of tables where we’d enjoy a buffet dinner and a dance floor! Each floor has its own bar with signature cocktails and games to play too. Celebrating something special? You have so many options to enhance the experience to make it truly unforgettable.

Its such a great time of the year to be out on the water. Warm nights, the sunsetting as you pull away from Lincoln Harbor… a perfect night out. A buffet dinner was set along with organic salads and a dessert section!

I of course had to try a little of everything… I caption my dinner dish as “please don’t judge, wink wink”. There was a really nice variety of dishes with a lot of great flavors. The service was wonderful as well! Our waiter was very attentive and always nearby if we needed anything.

After we enjoyed our dinner we headed up to the open roof deck and WOW, the views are just incredible as we cruised up and down the Hudson!!! I don’t know why it took me so long to experience this NYC Skyline Dinner Cruise with Spirit of New Jersey!

Up on the roof deck you’ve got another bar, shuffleboard, giant jenga and foosball. There are hightop tables and really chic lounging areas for you to enjoy.

I was truly in awe of the beauty of the skyline from the water. I think all of us as Americans cannot help but stare at the incredible Freedom Tower and feel all the feelings. It was one of those moments that you just need to stop and really take it all in and appreciate the freedoms we have in our lives.

Another highlight of the cruise is the Brooklyn Bridge and taking a moment to pause by the Statue of Liberty while God Bless America played over the speakers. Absolutely unforgettable!
