Two Healthy Breakfast Toasts with Almond Butter

February 8, 2018 by Angela LeMoine 16 Comments

Mornings are hectic enough without having to worry about getting in a healthy and easy breakfast before running out the door. Today I’m sharing Two Healthy Breakfast Toasts with Almond Butter that are delicious, filling and take just a few minutes to throw together.

**Disclosure of Material Connection: I received one or more of the products or services mentioned above for free in the hope that I would mention it on my blog. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

I do all my grocery shopping at my local Shop Rite and I am especially loving the expansion of their Wholesome Pantry line! Wholesome Pantry products are free from 110 preservative, additives or colors. There is an incredible selection of products that are delicious and make eating healthier that much easier which I just love! These Two Healthy Breakfast Toasts with Almond Butter are just perfect for those busy mornings.

I was recently fortunate enough to be asked to give a try to a handful of the products from the Wholesome Pantry line including their Organic Crushed Pepper and Truffle Oil Popcorn, Organic Energy Mix, Organic Pecan Halves, Freeze Dried Fuji Apple Fruit Crisps and Almond Butter. As soon as I received my box of deliciousness I knew I    wanted to try out a couple of different breakfast- or snack- toasts. The Energy Mix is filled with sunflower seeds, organic raisins, dried cranberries, nuts and dried apples.

A slice of toast, creamy almond butter and a sprinkling of that super powered Energy Mix and breakfast is done, healthy, delicious and definitely going to keep you feeling full. I    also made an Almond Butter, strawberry & dried apple toast… equally tasty, simple and healthy! Convenience really is a huge deal these days with everyone being so incredibly busy with life. I  truly believe though that you can still eat healthy with a little help from products like these.

I figured while I was at it why not play with the after school favorite of mine growing up… ants on a log but a little more grown up now.  I slathered on some almond butter onto a couple ribs of celery and topped one with the Wholesome Pantry pecan halves and the other with strawberries and the dried apple crisps again. Oh and can I tell you… when it comes to snacking, I    am a salty girl so that Crushed Pepper and Truffle Oil Popcorn is perfect for me when I finally hit the couch to relax a little catching up on my favorite shows.

I love almond butter! I wish I could get Connor to switch as he loves to talk sandwiches for lunch but his school is a peanut free zone! Those apple crisps look like a must try too!
