So friends what are all of you doing this Saturday, August 16th? I know exactly where i’ll be! I am so incredibly excited to be able to share this fantastic upcoming event with you, the 1st Annual “Truck”erton Food Truck & Brew Fest!!! You DO NOT want to miss this one! If you have been following along for a bit then you know that I am a huge lover of food festivals, especially those that feature gourmet food trucks! Not only will there be a dozen awesome food trucks but you’ll be able to wash it all down with some of the best brews in the craft beer garden.  All that while enjoying live music… doesn’t get much better then that!

Whats on the Menu?

Ahh La Cart:  More than just a hot dog truck, Ahh La Cart serves up the area’s finest street foods made with vegetables fresh from the farm and breads that are baked fresh daily

Cajun Jax: Alligator legs are just the begging of this eclectic menu

Chillin’ Out:  Fun frozen novelties and creamy soft serve ice cream

The Cow & The Curd:  Award-winning food truck that specializes in Wisconsin Battered Fried Cheese Curds.  And yes we have a great selection of beers to go with that! Waffle De Lys:  Unique waffle cart serving up authentic Belgian waffles and savory waffles.  Try the Belgian waffles made with pearl sugar lightly caramelized on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside.  Many of their toppings are imported from France such as salted caramel sauce, raspberry and mango fruit coulis, caramelized hazelnut crumbs, and chestnut spreads.

Zinna’s Bistro:  Serving up home-made Italian specialties with produce grown in their own garden and one of the most extensive menus of any food truck

We have truck “fests” around here every once in a while and I love them! We just eat our way through the parking lot. 🙂

I wish we had a food truck event like this in Phoenix! I have been to some food trucks in LA, but nothing local.
